AIMAA International Black Belt Testings 2015-2017
Congratulations to all testing participants!
On November 19th, AIMAA HQ hosted the 2017 International Black Belt Test, and we are honored to announce our new AIMAA Master, Master Stephen Hall. AIMAA also welcomes three new 5th degree black belts, Manjit K, Kalcutt. Geoffrey D. Chapman. Keith Fowles, all from Master Kalcutt's school in the U.K. We proudly acknowledge our new 3rd degree black belts from AIMAA HQ: Cathy Arcalas, Brian J. Manlanaphy, Emily Chen and Rick N. Kazman. We wholeheartedly congratulate these individuals for their dedication and years of commitment through which have earned these high levels of accomplishment. We also acknowledge the many other members of our association who attained their black belt ranking during this past year. To all, well done!

Black Belt Testings: 2015-2016 |
 Friends and family travelled from UK, Ireland, Scotland, New Mexico and Pittsburgh, in support of these years' testing candidates. Located halfway around the world, Hawaii is a location enjoyed by all, and those testing appreciated the audiences full support! The test was rigorous, each participant performed Patterns, AIMAA Curriculum, One Step Sparring, Free Sparring, Self Defense, Board Breaking as well as Martial Arts Theory. |
| AIMAA Headquarters, located in Honolulu, Hawaii, was proud to host this year's International Black Belt Testing on Sunday 20th November, 2016. Master Amrit Pal Singh Kalcutt earned his 7th Dan, and Mr. Percy Brown achieved his 5th Dan ranking. On October 22nd, 2016, Master Padrigh Meagher, from Ireland, tested for his 6th Dan. Earlier this year, on July 24th, AIMAA Instructors and students from New Mexico visited AIMAA HQ for testing. Ms. Denise Farrell, Mr. Sean Farrell and Ms. Petra Soule earned their 5th Dan Black, and Mr. Craig Soule earned his 4th Dan Black. Last year's international testing was held on 8th November, 2015. with Mr. Charles Boyle testing for his 6th Dan, to become an AIMAA Master. Last years testing panel was made up of Grandmaster Cho (AIMAA President), Grandmaster Philip Ameris (AIMAA Technical Director), Master John Darcy (AIMAA European Director) and Master Peter Byrne (AIMAA Irish Regional Director). Also joining the judging panel was Mrs. Jeanne Ameris, Mr. Karim Belgacem, Mrs. Tracey Belgacem, Mr. Walker and Mr. Aeneas O'Conner. Mr. Paul Healy assited with the testing participants during specific performances.
